Cat Bi International Airport

As part of Vietnam’s national aviation network, Cat Bi International Airport plays a vital role in the socio-economic development strategy of Hai Phong and the northern provinces. With a capacity of 1,000 passengers per peak hour, equivalent to 2 million passengers per year, it is a key transportation hub in the region.

The terminal design was required to meet international standards while also celebrating Vietnamese cultural identity, particularly drawing inspiration from the iconic Do Son Buffalo Fighting Festival, a local tradition of Hai Phong. In terms of stone finishing, GMC delivered both structural precision and aesthetic refinement, with detailed stonework that added character and distinction to the overall architectural composition.
